This image is one of Kent Wood's three photographs that were chosen for the 3rd Annual Atomic Photography Show at The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, a Smithsonian Affiliate, 601 S. Eubank Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM running now through 31 December, 2016.
Comet Hyakutake and my Rare Lightning Upward Streamer Leader photographs toured internationally in the 2002 Images From Science Exhibition organized by the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, Rochester Institute of Technology.
In 2011 The Royal Photographic Society of London, the world's oldest photographic society, chose my Lightning Upward Streamer Leader photograph for their first and only exhibition of scientific photography.
The third photograph is a micrograph of a microslide made by Victorian mounter CM Topping. It was an award winner in the Paris Exhibition of 1867.
All three photographs have been published world wide since they were created.
