Botulism Bacteria 003

Clumps of botulism bacteria rods, Clostridium botulinum, dause botulism in man.  Botulsim food poisoing is caused by eating food that contain botulism toxin or poison.  A common source is improperly preserved home canned foods with low acidity such as corn, green beans, and beets.  In severe cases, botulsim can lead to pralysis or death.
