Moon 004 - "Super Moon" at perigee

Our full moon, dubbed the "super moon", taken on 3-19-2011. at perigee, the closest it will be to the earth in its slightly elliptical orbit until the year 2029.  At this point in its orbit, it is 31,000 miles closer than the furthest point in its orbit, a mere 365,600 kilometers or 211,600 miles.  It was also the day before the solstice, the vernal or spring equinox.
