FAT 001

This is fat as seen under a microscope. These stained fat cells, known as adipose tissue or adipocytes are largely made of ilpid deposits and are one of the largest cell types in the human body. Adipose connective tissue forms a thick layer under the skin which insulates the body and acts as reserve energy. Too much fat is unhealthy and leads to obesity.
