Smoker's Lung 001

This is a smoker's lung as seen under a microscope, a light micrograph.  The left side is choked, full of black tar deposits from chronic cigarette smoking.  The right side demonstrates normal lung tissue spacing with aveoli, but with encroaching tar deposits.  Smoking causes numerous health issues ranging from lung cancer to emphysema.  T
