Observatory 002 - Kitt Peak, daytime

Kitt Peak Observatory's 4 meter Mayall Telescope (R) and the Steward Observatory 90 degree telescop (L) are framed against a blue Arizona Sky during a daytime tour.  Kit Peak National Observatory is part of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory which supports the most diverse collection of earthbound observatories worldwide. There are 19 optical telescopes and two radio telescopes.   Kitt Peak is located 56 miles southwest of Tucson, AZ.
